Tape Installation for Kupu 10 & Lento 10

On this page you'll find instructions on how to activate & install Kupu 10 and Lento 10 smoke alarms.

Notice that even though Kupu 10 and Lento 10 look different, the activation & installation process for them is identical.

Detailed Steps

Step 1:

Place the mounting plate on its place and find the angle where it clicks to its place.

Step 2:

Next, turn the plate clockwise until the very end. If stuck, use a pen or screwdriver for help in turning.

Step 3:

Make sure the clips are at the end of the indentation.

Also, the mounting plate's angle is 90 degrees to the alarm.

Step 4:

Now, press the surface until you hear the alarm sound.

If correctly activated, the led light should flash when

pressing.

 

If the light doesn't flash and no sound is audible - make sure the mounting plate is correctly installed and turn the plate further so it's fully pressed down. 

 

Repeat the earlier steps if needed. You are ready to install!

Step 5:

Remove the tape protective cover and place the alarm to your preferred place.

 

When you have installed the alarm, test it once again.
